When I was lactating for my son, I had to rub coconut oil on my flange for comfort and then use something else to help with soothing. I realized there is a solution to this; pumping sprays that can do both.
Calendula Olive Pumping Spray provides lubrication with organic food-grade ingredients. The calendula flowers found in Calendula Olive promotes the flow of milk by helping to drain the milk ducts, reduce inflammation and helps prevent/treat skin problems such as cracking. Calendula Olive is for those who are allergic to coconut oil.
So, what does lubricating the flange/insert mean? It means more comfort while pumping, reducing friction if the flange/insert is not silicone, preventing injury, creating a better seal and moisturizing the skin

Olive oil
Calendula flowers

Olive oil has great benefits for the skin such as being a moisturizer, goes into pores without clogging them up, an antioxidant, prevent skin damage, makes the skin smooth, and can be used for all skin types
Calendula flowers is an anti-inflammatory agent, a moisturizer, protects the skin, keeps the skin healthy, and an antioxidant that can help with any blockage by promoting the flow and drainage of lymphatic fluids (what helps drain the breast internally)
Directions: Apply to breast shield/flange/insert before pumping. Do not use a lot at once. 1-2 sprays are enough.
